The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Kenneth Lake with night lows in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; night lows through the winter for Kenneth Lake tend to be in the 20's. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Joaquin River - South Fork; since you're here, you could also stop by pretty Dorothy       Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Kenneth Lake is near Little Lakes Valley which is undeniably worth taking a look at. Man, is there heaps of amusing things to do right next door to Kenneth Lake. Camping at Lake Inlet Campground is always a brilliant experience, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mammoth Mountain while you're here. Kenneth Lake gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls during January while June is the month                  with the least amount of precipitation. Man, is there lots of cool things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Mono Creek has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by, and a good spot to camp here at Kenneth Lake is Pine Grove Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Do visit Francis Lake near Kenneth Lake, it's a pretty lake, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Mammoth Creek Inn. So much cool stuff to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada, too tremendous to be true. Looking for some flowing water? Try East Fork Rock Creek; Devils Postpile National Monument is a great local destination.
