It's always fun to stop by Kelly Lake. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Klamath Mountains. You'll meet a lot of people from Grants Pass here. Kelly Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during December this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! If time allows, Oregon Caves National Monument is a national park worth checking out, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Boundary National Recreation Trail. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Trace Creek, and going for a hike along the Clear Creek National Recreation Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. the summertime months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Kelly Lake. While you're here at Kelly Lake you can
take a hike along the Low Gap Trail. There's so much to do here at Kelly Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Klamath RV Park is a splendid place for that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains.
Having a splendid time in the Klamath Mountains is uncomplicated. Kelly Lake is not the only place close by, Frog Pond is a close by lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Kelly Lake has to offer, you can camp at West Branch Campground.
