If you need a place to stay Deer Creek Inn is a glorious choice, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Grouse Ridge Trail. This place, Kelly Lake, it completely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Lots of folks from Truckee-Grass Valley come to Kelly Lake. Paddling on Fordyce Creek is so much fun, and if you came to camp Kelly Lake Campground is a perfect spot       to do that. Yeah, come here to Kelly Lake for a perfect time. Hiking along the Big Valley Trail is tremendous fun; Lake Valley is a pretty site any time of year. This lake is so wonderful. Kelly Lake is right by the Mears Lake Valley Trail, and gorgeous scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Soda Springs. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. Gotta ski! Royal Gorge is a tremendous location to do that; if you get bored of Kelly Lake                  you could also stop by nearby Huysink Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Meadow Spring, and swing by Rattlesnake Creek it's a glorious location to stop at. The high level of precipitation makes Kelly Lake a quite wet place; most of the rain falls during January, and July on the other hand is the driest. Cisco Butte is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Kelly Lake; Kelly Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Silver Tip Campground is a pleasant local campground. For the period of the summer highs here at Kelly Lake get into the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Kelly Lake plunge into the 20's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. And that's not everything you can do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
