This site, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors cool things. Kelly Lake Campground is a glorious local campground; glorious hiking is available along the Mears Lake Valley Trail. You can run the rapids of Yuba River - South Fork near Kelly Lake, and the Grouse Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best. Kelly Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern                  Sierra Nevada. So many amusing things to do at Kelly Lake, so little time. Put some time aside to spend at Meadow Spring since you're here at Kelly Lake; a visit to Lake Valley revitalizes the soul. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Kelly Lake; Big Valley Trail is a tremendous local trail, and Fordyce Creek is a great whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Kelly Lake is a place with many visitors from Truckee-Grass Valley, and Silver Tip Campground is a great campground nearby.
