For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Kangaroo Lake reach the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Kangaroo Lake fall into the 20's. If you're here at Kangaroo Lake, you could explore Rock Fence Creek; Kangaroo       Lake Dam is not far at all from Kangaroo Lake. Kangaroo Lake is right by the Echo Lake Trail, and camping is available at Pinewood Cove Resort. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Kangaroo Lake, too fine to be true. The Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Trinity River - East Fork. Take a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section                  18; there are other sites here than Kangaroo Lake, for example Lily Pad Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Kangaroo Lake is frequently a reasonably dried out place; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful.
