Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Josephine Lake is excellent! Camping is available at Canyon View Campground; some of the water close by flows, like Barton Creek. Through the long summer days here at Josephine Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs       are generally in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Josephine Lake during the wintertime ordinarily drop into the 20's. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. This is a perfect area for people who like lakes. Colby Lake is a lake close at hand, and there's great hiking along the Sawtooth Pass Trail. Josephine Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the rain is January, and July on the other hand is                  the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves Big Wet Meadow, and if you have the time, Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is a national park worth visiting. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Talus Lake, and great hiking is available along the High Sierra Trail. Camping at Moraine Campground is always a great experience; in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kern River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Sierra Nevada.
