If you're hooked on cool geologic features, try Devils Postpile. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Central Sierra Nevada. If you need a spot to stay 1849 Condos at Mammoths Canyon Lodge is a great choice, and you can run the rapids of San Joaquin River - Middle Fork. High

| | temperatures at Johnston Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Johnston Lake. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Central Sierra Nevada. a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Johnston Lake. Johnston Lake is right by the John Muir Trail - section 2, and perfect skiing awaits you at June Mountain. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Minaret Falls; going
for a hike along the Sherwin Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Mammoth Rock Trail is splendid fun. There's so much to do here at Johnston Lake that you
need to camp here for a while, Minaret Falls Campground is a good site for that. Dry warm beds await you at Snowbird Condos at Mammoths Canyon Lodge, and you're possibly hooked on lakes, Fern Lake is one of those close by. This lake
is so wonderful. While you're here at Johnston Lake it's a brilliant idea to check out Johnston Meadow, and if you've had enough of Johnston Lake, Sotcher Lake is nearby. Mono Creek is a fine whitewater spot near Johnston Lake;
there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Mammoth Mountain. Johnston Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Johnston Lake is located in the Central Sierra Nevada.
