Johnston Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of June Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist, naturally you could also check out Trinity Lakes since you're here; it's not far at all. The Sherwin Lakes Trail is a delightful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Johnston Lake; if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork. | | 90's to Johnston Lake. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are typically in the 40's, and night lows at Johnston Lake during the winter frequently fall into the 20's. Camping is available at Reds Meadow Campground; on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Mono Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby. | |

You completely should love Johnston Lake. What would winter be without some skiing at Mammoth Mountain, and dry warm beds await you at Snowbird Condos at Mammoths Canyon Lodge. This location, the Central Sierra Nevada, has so
much outdoors amusing stuff. Johnston Meadow is right here at Johnston Lake, and a brilliant spot to camp here at Johnston Lake is Minaret Falls Campground. The annual precipitation here at Johnston Lake is about average; the wettest
month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that rains the most while June is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Lost Dog Lake; needless to say Minaret Creek flows through this region.
Devils Postpile is an out of the ordinary place to go to while at Johnston Lake; if you need a location to stay 1849 Condos at Mammoths Canyon Lodge is a wonderful choice. So much amusing stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada,
not enough time. Minaret Falls is a stunning place to go to while you're at Johnston Lake; while you're here you can take a hike along the John Muir Trail - section 2. Johnston Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada.
