Soda Springs is a very popular ski area close at hand; a pleasant journey to Wildcat Meadow is a great way to spend an afternoon. All through the months of summer here at Jerrys Pool, high temperatures commonly reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Jerrys Pool dip into the 30's. Having a pleasant       time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is painless. While you're here at Jerrys Pool you can take a hike along the Slide Point Trail, and a splendid place is North Wallace Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Rubicon River offers some glorious whitewater, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Grey Trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Northern Sierra Nevada has to offer. A short journey                  to Desert Cold Spring is always worthwhile, and why not camp at Vista Overflow Campground while you're here at Jerrys Pool. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll adore Jerrys Pool. There are some great whitewater spots on American River - South Fork. Lakes? Sure, Dry Lakes is in the vicinity. Union Valley Reservoir is a brilliant lake in the vicinity of Jerrys Pool, and camping is available at Big Tree Grove Campground. Jerrys Pool sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is January while July is usually the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
