Jerry Lake is right by the Glacier Lakes Trail, and get drenched paddling on Yuba River - South Fork. From Jerry Lake you get a delightful vista of Buzzard Roost, and a tremendous location to camp here at Jerry Lake is Sterling Lake Campground. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Not far from Jerry Lake, you'll stumble on Mossy Pond which is a striking       lake; camping at Cold Springs Campground is always a fine experience. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Royal Gorge, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Fordyce Creek. All the water falling down from the sky makes Jerry Lake a wet location; January is when you get the most rain here; July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Soda Springs has                  nice slopes and a friendly staff, and Jones Valley is in the vicinity, and is a glorious place. Lakes are perfect; Derry Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Jerry Lake, and The Inn at Truckee is a splendid place to get some rest. For the duration of the summertime months, highs typically are in the 80's at Jerry Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Jerry Lake tend to be in the 20's. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place!
