This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges. The amount of rainfall that falls at Jarnigan Pond is close to the national average; through November this area sees the most rain while July is frequently the driest month. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Coast Ranges is great! Blue Lake is a good lake near Jarnigan Pond; whitewater paddling is glorious on Mad River. Lakes are such calm locations,       why not have a look at Lake Prairie near Jarnigan Pond, and do take a hike on the Grouse Creek Tractor Trail. All through the warm months at Jarnigan Pond highs are frequently in the 60's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are regularly in the 50's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Jarnigan Pond tend to be in the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. Iaqua Buttes is clearly visible from Jarnigan Pond,                  and getting to Goodman Prairie Creek from Jarnigan Pond is simple.
