If you are in Santa Barbara county it's always a good idea to stop by Jameson Lake. Do set aside some time for Billiard Flats while you're here at Jameson Lake; the scenery at Juncal Dam is picturesque. So much cool stuff in the Sierra Madre, just fantastic. Jameson Lake is in the vicinity of Juncal Canyon which is positively worth stopping at; you can stay the night at Alder Creek Campground. The Sierra Madre scenery is always beautiful.

Do stop at Jameson Lake near Jameson Lake, it's a delightful lake, and Jameson Lake is not far at all from Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-Goleta. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Sierra Madre. If you need a site to stay Best Western Carpinteria Inn is a fine choice; while you're
here, you could also visit stunning Carpinteria Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Alder Creek flows through this vicinity, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Rincon Trail. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff
in one place! Jameson Lake is great! There's so much to do here at Jameson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Juncal Campground is a good site for that; going for a hike along the Franklin Trail will let you absorb the natural
beauty of this area.
Jameson Lake gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the rain is February, and the driest month of the year is July. Looking for a good trip? Channel Islands National Park is relatively close to Jameson Lake.
