If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Jameson Lake. Jameson Lake is pretty dried up commonly; the month of February is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Franklin Trail is perfect fun, and if you need a place to stay Sandyland Reef Inn is a great choice. Just can't get enough of the Sierra Madre. | | camp here for a while, Juncal Campground is a fine place for that, and Juncal Dam is a pretty location, absolutely worth taking a look at.
Stay the night at Alder Creek Campground, and you'll almost certainly meet some people from Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-Goleta here. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not all the things to do here in the Sierra Madre. A great spot to go to in the neighborhood of Jameson Lake is Juncal Canyon; Alder Creek is in close proximity to Jameson
Lake and is always a pleasure to have a look at. Through the long summer days at Jameson Lake temperatures are usually in the 90's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 60's, and overnight
lows in the 30's for Jameson Lake. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Steer Creek Trail, and a lake close by is Jameson Lake.
