So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too nice to be true. If you came for an overnight stay Aspen Campgrounds is a perfect location to camp, and do check out Milton Reservoir, it's a delightful lake. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. If you love the outdoors, you'll adore Jackson Meadows Reservoir. You're sure to encounter       some fine people from Truckee-Grass Valley here. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Royal Gorge, and don't leave Jackson Meadows Reservoir without first paying a visit to Damfine Spring. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Fordyce Creek, and there's tremendous hiking along the Crooked Lakes Trail. If you need a site to stay Chalet View Lodge                  is a great choice, and you can hit the slopes at Soda Springs in the neighborhood. A great view of stunning Findley Peak is available from Jackson Meadows Reservoir, and there's whitewater on Yuba River - South Fork for all you adrenaline junkies. Go for a hike on the Glacier Lakes Trail; nearby Bear Valley is a nice place to go. The annual rain here at Jackson Meadows Reservoir is about average; most of the rain falls during January, and July on the other hand is the driest. All year is a magnificent time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you love the outdoors. Why not camp at Jackson Point Campground if you're here at Jackson Meadows Reservoir, and there's some flowing water close by, Pass Creek is a stream you can explore during your stay. Summertime at Jackson Meadows Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Jackson Meadows Reservoir. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time.
