Soda Springs is a glorious local ski area, and a brilliant location to camp here at Jackson Lake is Canyon Creek Campground. During the summertime months at Jackson Lake highs are ordinarily in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Jackson Lake drop into the 20's. Now, you may feel       that's loads but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Jackson Lake. After a long day outdoors Deer Creek Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two. Jackson Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that rains the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Jackson Lake. Catfish Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore,                  and there are plenty of folks from Truckee-Grass Valley here. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant nearby hotel is Chalet View Lodge, and Damfine Spring is an inspiring site to take a look at while you're here. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. So many enjoyable things in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just extraordinary. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Royal Gorge is in the neighborhood of Jackson Lake; get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Yuba River - South Fork. Going for a hike along the Bowman Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and of course Woodcamp Creek flows through this area. English Mountain is clearly visible from Jackson Lake, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Glacier Lakes Trail. A lake nearby is Echo Lake, and Jackson Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Silver Tip Campground is a good local campground. And that's not all the things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
