If you are in Los Angeles county it's always a good idea to stop by Jackson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Jackson Lake you can make out Inspiration Point, and Appletree Flat is a pleasant place to check out. There's so much to do here at Jackson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mescal Campground is a nice place for that, and if you want a little side tour, try Cedar Canyon. Having a glorious time in the San Gabriel Mountains is trouble-free.

| | Hiking is a popular thing to do around Jackson Lake; Dawson Peak Trail is a good local trail; Ski Sunrise has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff.
All through the summertime here at Jackson Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 90's while night lows are mostly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's; night lows at Jackson Lake during the winter frequently dip into the 30's. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the San Gabriel Mountains. | |

Dry warm beds await you at Claremont West Suites, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Heaton Flat Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff right next door to Jackson Lake. Mountain High is a very popular ski
area in close proximity, and the Allison Trail offers hiking at its best.
After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn & Suites is a nice place to spend a night or two, and you can stay the night at Mount Oak Campground. This lake is
so wonderful. Jackson Lake is located in the San Gabriel Mountains.
From a precipitation point of view Jackson Lake is a quite normal place; of all the months in a year February is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
