There's great hiking along the Stone Canyon Trail, and Aberdeen Canyon is another pleasant location to visit nearby. Dry warm beds await you at Los Angeles/Downtown Super 8 Motel; Saddleback Butte State Park is a perfect campground nearby. The Gold Canyon Trail offers hiking at its best, and Plasse's Resort at Silver Lake is a brilliant local campground. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin'       a perfect time here at Ivanhoe Reservoir. Not far from Ivanhoe Reservoir, you'll come across Powena Reservoir which is a stunning lake; Comfort Inn Los Angeles is a nice site to get some rest. At Ivanhoe Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; February is when you get the most rain here while June is usually the driest month. Ivanhoe Reservoir is right by the Condor Peak Riding and hiking Trail, and the slopes of Mt Waterman are so inviting nobody can resist.                  Summer brings highs in the 70's to Ivanhoe Reservoir. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Ivanhoe Reservoir dip into the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Arroyo Seco Golf Course is always a joy, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Silver Lake Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
