Island Lake is located in the Coast Ranges. Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges. Island Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Shady Bend RV and Mobile Park is a great place to camp nearby. While you're here at Island Lake you can take a hike along the Summit Valley Trail, and Hurdygurdy Creek is a fine whitewater spot close by. | | least moisture. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Clear Creek National Recreation Trail, and a splendid place for whitewater paddling is Trace Creek. This lake is so wonderful. not everything there is to do here in the Coast Ranges. On a great day at Island Lake you can take a hike along the Elk Camp Ridge Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Island Lake has to offer, you can camp at
Cedar Rustic Campground. All through the summer months highs here at Island Lake reach the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while Island Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's.
