So much entertaining stuff in the Klamath Mountains, just incredible. Take a hike on the Garden Gulch Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Klamath River. Summertime highs at Isinglass Lake typically tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's; nighttime lows at Isinglass Lake through the winter commonly sink into the 30's. Isinglass Lake usually gets

| | lots of rain; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Scott River, and a brilliant spot nearby is Panther Cove. is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Spring Flat Campground is a magnificent campground nearby, and as expected Isinglass Creek is a stunning stream that is worth taking a look at.
Indian Scotty Campground is a nice local campground, and a tour to Big Meadows revives the spirit. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Baymont Inn & Suites Yreka is a great location to spend a night or two. What
a place this is for outdoors folks. The Tanners Peak Trail offers hiking at its best, and not far from Isinglass Lake you'll come across Lower Wright Lake which is a charming lake.
