Scovern Hot Springs is a splendid local attraction, of course you could also take a look at Lake Stockton since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Isabella Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Auxiliary Dam Campground is a wonderful local campground, and why not head up to Shirley Meadow and strap some skis to your feet. The annual precipitation here at Isabella Lake is about average; the month       with most of the rain is January, and July is when it's the driest. Go for a hike on the Bull Run Cattle Drive, and French Gulch is a good site to spend some time. Camping at Jesse James Trailer Park is always a nice experience; there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the Cannell Meadow Trail. You completely ought to like Isabella Lake. Soar down the rapids of Kern River in a kayak, and a lake close by is Lake Engle. You truly must fancy the                  Southern Sierra Nevada.
