Custom Search     Irvine Lake     2/26/10 I've been going to Irvine Lake for the past 4 months. Its very pretty and full of nature. Fishing has been hit or miss, more miss than hits. The rains kills it for a week or so and roads are closed. I don't mind since we get to use our own boats out on the water. Biggest problem I have is that there is less than adequate communication on their websites, such as fishing report updates are always weeks or months behind. they had a TV show shoot one     day and closed off all of Santiago flats and most of east shore without placing a notification on their site(i wouldn't have showed up that day if half the lake is closed off to fishing). Their staff are friendly and informative and I do enjoy running the boat on a beautiful lake.
