Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff to do near Inyo Crater Lakes. A great nearby hotel is The Village Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are good sites to go to, and Devils Postpile National Monument is no exception; the Sherwin Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best. For       the period of the summertime at Inyo Crater Lakes highs are ordinarily in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 30's. Through the winter the highs are frequently in the 40's, and night lows in the 0's for Inyo Crater Lakes. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. Gotta ski! Mammoth Mountain is a great spot to do that, and from Inyo Crater Lakes you acquire a great view                  of Deer Mountain. Inyo Crater Lakes gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; the month with most of the snow is January, and the driest month is June. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork, and do explore Reds Lake, it's a wonderful lake. Having a brilliant time in the Central Sierra Nevada is painless. If you're here at Inyo Crater Lakes and you like golf, you can stop by Snowcreek Golf Course, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Inyo Crater Lakes; Mammoth Rock Trail is a magnificent local trail. A pleasant tour to Crater Flat is a magnificent way to spend an afternoon; camping is available at Inyo Craters Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at June Mountain; why not take a refreshing hike along the John Muir Trail - section 2. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. If you came for an overnight stay Lower Deadman Campground is a perfect place to camp; Mono Creek has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by.
