    It's always fun to stop by Inyo Crater Lakes. Inyo Crater Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. Don't miss out on a journey to Devils Postpile National Monument while you're here at Inyo Crater Lakes. Inyo Crater Lakes is a good place of typical rainfall; most of the snow falls through January, and June is the month with the least moisture.
So much entertaining stuff to do here at Inyo Crater Lakes, too glorious to be true. Everybody
 
   nearby loves skiing at Mammoth Mountain, and Mammoth Mountain Inn is a great spot to get some rest. A round of golf at nearby Snowcreek Golf Course is a good way to kill some time, and dry warm beds await you at 1849 Condos at Canyon Lodge. So many fun things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not enough time. Hiking along the Mammoth Rock Trail is perfect fun; camping at Inyo Craters Campground is always a pleasant experience.

               Inyo Crater Lakes temperatures are mostly in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Inyo Crater Lakes fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Inyo Crater Lakes you can take a hike along the John Muir Trail - section 2; in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mono Creek. The skiing at June Mountain is good, and a spree to Crater Flat rejuvenates the soul.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Lower Deadman Campground, and a wonderful place for whitewater paddling is San Joaquin River - Middle Fork. This location, the Central Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors cool stuff. Going for a hike along the Sherwin Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; from Inyo Crater Lakes you get a tremendous panorama of Deer Mountain.
