This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. Bartlett Peak is beautiful and can be seen from Inferno Lakes; Stanislaus River - Middle Fork is a splendid whitewater spot nearby. The high level of rainfall makes Inferno Lakes a quite wet site; during the month of January you get the most snow around here; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. | | much to do here at Inferno Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Hetch Hetchy Campground is a magnificent site for that. And if that's not enough there's a heap more exciting stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Pruitt Lake. There is a magnificent hiking trail in close proximity to Inferno Lakes called the Hetch Hetchy Trail; a wonderful location for whitewater paddling is | |

Cherry Creek - West Fork. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Inferno Lakes. The skiing at Dodge Ridge is great. Lakes? Sure, Spotted Fawn Lake is close by. Through the summer here at Inferno Lakes, high
temperatures usually get into the 60's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, typically in the 40's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 30's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Inferno Lakes tend to be in
the 10's. Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada. Americas Best Value Inn Yosemite Westgate Lodge is a fine spot to get some rest, and you can stay the night at Hetch Hetchy Backpackers Campground.
