Icehouse       Pond gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Icehouse Pond is not the only site nearby, Tanner Reservoir is a nearby lake, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Cosumnes River - Middle Fork. Throughout the months of summer at Icehouse Pond highs are frequently in the 90's; the night is slightly colder of course, generally in the 60's.                  The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's while Icehouse Pond overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's. Why not camp at Pine Acres Resort while you're here at Icehouse Pond, and Best Western Amador Inn is a fine site to get some rest.
