What a nice lake Ice Lakes is. Ice Lakes is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Ice Lakes gets a good deal of water; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There are great sites to look at along the Lola Montez Trail, and nearby Summit Valley is a great location to go.

| | Ice Lakes, you could have a look at Upper Castle Creek; you can stay the night at Onion Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Yuba River - South Fork right next door to Ice Lakes, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Truckee, Ca. You could also visit Dulzura Lake while you're here at Ice Lakes; it's close by, and Soda Springs has good slopes and a friendly staff.

do in the vicinity of Ice Lakes. Van Norden Campground is a splendid campground here, and don't leave Ice Lakes without first going for a hike along the Long Valley Trail. Go for a hike on the Heath Falls Overlook Trail, and Boreal
is a very popular ski area close by.
You completely ought to go for the Northern Sierra Nevada. Fordyce Creek is a great whitewater spot right next door to Ice Lakes, and if you need a place to stay Squaw Valley Lodge is a nice
choice. Throughout the days of summer at Ice Lakes highs are usually in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Ice Lakes all through the winter frequently fall into the 20's.
