Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Huysink Lake temperatures drop to the 20's.

You'll need more than a day to look at everything Huysink Lake has to offer, you can camp at Indian Springs Campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Salmon Lake Trail. You'll wish for more hours
in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Huysink Lake. Lots of folks from Truckee-Grass Valley come to Huysink Lake; Yuba River - South Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Huysink Lake is
a great site to camp, Kelly Lake Campground is a great site; what would winter be without some skiing at Royal Gorge.
