In California there are many beautiful lakes, Huntley Mill Lake is one of them. Be careful coming to Huntley Mill Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. Dry warm beds await you at Squaw Valley Lodge, and if you came for an overnight stay Sterling Lake Campground is a great place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Devils Peak can be made out from Huntley Mill Lake. Huntley Mill Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada.

| | You can run the rapids of Yuba River - South Fork in close proximity to Huntley Mill Lake; hey, Gotta ski right? Boreal is a great location to do that. The high level of precipitation makes Huntley Mill Lake a quite wet location; throughout the month of January you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime highs at Huntley Mill Lake usually tend to be in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's
overnight here at Huntley Mill Lake. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back over and over. There are tremendous locations to explore along the Long Valley Trail, and lakes are such
serene locations, why not go to Long Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a great time. Good hiking is available along the Cherry Point Trail, and why not camp at Cold Springs Campground if you're here at Huntley
Mill Lake.
Go for a hike on the Heath Falls Overlook Trail, and Fordyce Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby.
