Huntley Mill Lake is a relatively wet place mostly with much precipitation; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. If you need a site to stay Squaw Valley Lodge is a tremendous choice; brilliant skiing awaits you at Soda Springs. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Huntley Mill Lake rules! Float down the rapids of Fordyce Creek in a kayak, and there are other places here than Huntley

| | Mill Lake, for example Natalie Lake. At Huntley Mill Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, regularly in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Huntley Mill Lake are in the 20's. Lakes? and can be observed from Huntley Mill Lake, and Boreal has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Huntley Mill Lake; Cherry Point Trail is a great local trail; great
hiking is available along the Long Valley Trail. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to go back home again. Paddling on Yuba River - South Fork is so much fun, and Cold Springs Campground is a
perfect local campground. That right there is a heap of cool things already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. There's glorious hiking along the Heath Falls Overlook Trail, and Sterling Lake Campground is a splendid campground nearby. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful.
