Hummingbird Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. A wonderful place near Hummingbird Lake is Dore Pass, and not far from Hummingbird Lake you'll hit upon Odell Lake which is a scenic lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Heidelberg Inn. During the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Hummingbird Lake. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 30's. It is very waterless here at Hummingbird Lake generally; all through January this area sees the most snow, and October is the month with the least moisture. here at Hummingbird Lake. Hummingbird Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Sawmill Campground is a delightful local campground, and whitewater paddling is good on Tenaya Creek. You need to stop by Dore Cliff while
you're here at Hummingbird Lake; splendid hiking is available along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Hummingbird Lake without first going for a hike along the Gaylor Lakes Trail. There's
so much to do here at Hummingbird Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Saddlebag Campground is a great place for that.
