Summer at Hummingbird Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Hummingbird Lake. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Man, is there lots of entertaining stuff to do close to Hummingbird Lake. Have a fine hiking       adventure along the Don Cecil Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Sheep Creek Campground, and paddling on Kings River - Middle Fork is so much fun. What would winter be without some skiing at Sierra Summit, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is bountiful here in the Central Sierra Nevada.
