If you get bored of       Hufford Lake, you could also explore close by Barrett Lake, and delightful hiking is available along the Chaos Crags Trail. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Southern Cascade Range will keep you coming back again and again. Eiler Butte is wonderful and can be observed from Hufford Lake, and don't leave Hufford Lake without first paying a visit to Cornaz Spring. High temperatures at Hufford Lake all through the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and                  during the night it cools down to the 40's.
