Econo Lodge Arroyo Grande is a glorious place to get some rest, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Hi Mountain Trail. And if that's not enough there's a lot more entertaining things to do in the Santa Lucia Range. Black Lake Canyon is a great spot to spend some time at, and a pretty lake like Dune Lakes is a great place to visit. Hospital Lake is pretty arid mostly; during January       this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is June. All through the summertime at Hospital Lake highs are usually in the 60's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's, and night lows in the 40's for Hospital Lake. On a pleasant day at Hospital Lake you can take a hike along the Alan Peak Trail; this is a popular spot for folks from San Luis Obispo-Paso Robles. Now, you may assume                  that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Santa Lucia Range. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Hospital Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pacific Dunes Ranch is a tremendous spot for that; if you need a place to stay Pacific Plaza Resort is a nice choice. And that's not all you can do here at Hospital Lake.
