     Horseshoe Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Horseshoe Lake is a location that is reasonably arid typically; February is when you get the most rain here, and June is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Pelican Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and Mojave Narrow Regional Park is a wonderful local campground. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Green Tree Golf Course; great hiking is available along  
   the Pacific Crest Trail - section 6.
That right there is a lot already, but it continues; Horseshoe Lake has it all. If you get bored of Horseshoe Lake, you could also explore close by Burkhardt Lake; since you're here, you could stop by Desert Knolls Wash. If you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Express Inn Of Victorville is a wonderful choice; Horseshoe Lake is a brilliant location to visit for more than one day, Victorville Koa Kampground is a brilliant
 
               location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Cable Canyon Trail, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Quality Inn & Suites. During the warm months highs here at Horseshoe Lake get into the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Horseshoe Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. Horseshoe Lake is near Apple Valley which is beyond doubt worth a visit; hiking is a popular thing to do around Horseshoe Lake; Miller Canyon Trail is a good local trail.
