Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Mountain High; the Coldwater Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant nearby hotel is Riverside West-Days Inn Tyler Mall/Corona Area, and Horseshoe Lake is right by the Joplin Trail. It is very waterless here at Horseshoe Lake regularly; through January this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. You can never get enough of the       delightful skiing at Mt. Baldy, and while you're here, you could also take a look at beautiful Hole Lake. If you came to camp Salton Sea State Recreation Area is a great site to do that, and why not take a refreshing hike along the East Horsetheif Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Horseshoe Lake. There's so much to do here at Horseshoe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mt. San Jacinto State Park is a glorious                  spot for that, and after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Riverside is a great spot to spend a night or two. A golf course near Horseshoe Lake is Paradise Knolls Golf Course. High temperatures at Horseshoe Lake through the warm months are in the 90's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's.
