     Gotta ski! Badger Pass is a fine place to do that. This place, the Central Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors amusing things. Hiking along the Panorama Trail is wonderful fun, and The Ahwahnee is a nice place to get some rest. Throughout the long summer days at Hoover Lakes temperatures are commonly in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 40's, and nighttime lows  
   throughout the wintertime for Hoover Lakes tend to be in the 20's.
From a rainfall point of view Hoover Lakes is a pretty normal place; January is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Upper Chiquito Campground, and do take a hike on the Mist Trail. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Hoover Lakes has it all. While you're here at Hoover
 
               Lakes it's a tremendous idea to explore Givens Meadow. There's so much to do here at Hoover Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Beasore Meadows Campground is a nice location for that.
After a long day outdoors dnc -- Wawona Hotel is a glorious location to spend a night or two; the top of Mount Bruce is easily spotted from Hoover Lakes. Hoover Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. This is a nice neighborhood for people who like lakes. Givens Lake is a lake close at hand; a pleasant place for whitewater paddling is Merced River - South Fork.
So many amusing things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not enough time. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tenaya Creek; Yosemite National Park is a wonderful local destination. This lake is so wonderful. Hoover Lakes is right by the Mono Meadow Trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Lower Merced Pass Lake.
