All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Klamath Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. A wooded area in the neighborhood of Hooligan Lake is Klamath National Forest, and float down the rapids of Wooley Creek in a kayak. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Hooligan Lake get into the 90's with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Hooligan Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. Not

The Garden Gulch Trail is a great hiking trail near Hooligan Lake, and if you're looking for a great visit, Oregon Caves National Monument is quite near. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a tremendous little journey to Smith Fork; going for a hike on the Tanners Peak Trail is always a magnificent adventure. you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest. Near Hooligan Lake you discover the Salmon Summit Recreation Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and a great place like Buns Basin here at Hooligan Lake is
too fine to miss. What a location this is for outdoors people. The peak of Medicine Mountain can be spotted from Hooligan Lake. There's so much to do here at Hooligan Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Oak Bottom Campground
is a brilliant place for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well pop by Cuddihy Valley; there are other places here than Hooligan Lake, for example Deadman Lake. Not far from Hooligan Lake, you'll find Pleasant
Lake which is a pretty lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River, and you can stay the night at Sulphur Springs Campground.
