Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are really abundant here at Hoggem Lake. Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite is a great place to get some rest; there's whitewater on Willow Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. The warmest time of the year at Hoggem Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the       40's; overnight lows at Hoggem Lake during the wintertime regularly sink into the 20's. While you're here at Hoggem Lake, you could also pop by delightful Dutchman Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Merced River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous site to camp here at Hoggem Lake is Fresno Dome Campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Buena Vista Trail. Be careful coming                  to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to go home again. Badger Pass is a very popular ski area close at hand; the peak of Mount Raymond can be seen from Hoggem Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. Star Lakes is a nearby lake that you could visit. After a long day outdoors Oakhurst Days Inn is a magnificent location to spend a night or two, and Last Chance Meadow is a perfect site. This lake is so wonderful. Yosemite National Park is one of the destinations close to Hoggem Lake that are good to go to, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Hoggem Lake; Chilnualna Fall Trail is a nice local trail. That right there is a heap of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. The Mono Meadow Trail offers hiking at its best, and camping is available at Little Sandy Campground.
