Having a great time in the Santa Rosa Mountains is uncomplicated. Dry warm beds await you at Quiet Creek Inn; if you've had enough of Hog Lake, Foster Lake is close by. The Ramona Trail is a good hiking trail near Hog Lake; a short journey to Jozee Spring is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. At Hog Lake you always meet someone from Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario. Hog Lake is one of the lakes here in the Santa       Rosa Mountains. You could also stop at Lake Hemet while you're here at Hog Lake; it's nearby; Hog Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Thomas Mountain Campground is a splendid local campground. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Hog Lake rules! Little Thomas Mountain is a peak you can make out from Hog Lake, and going for a hike on the Alessandro Trail is always a splendid adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Near Hog Lake you locate                  the South Fork Trail which is a great hiking trail; if you need a place to stay Idyllwild Inn is a wonderful choice. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Santa Rosa Mountains. A wonderful spot to camp here at Hog Lake is Ramona Campground, and Cottonwood Fire Break is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. Around Hog Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; March is when you get the most rain here, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime highs at Hog Lake typically tend to be in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
