Throughout the long summer days at Hobler Lake highs are commonly in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; overnight lows in the 20's for Hobler Lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. The top of Long Top is easily spotted from Hobler Lake, and       if you come at the right time of year, Kings River - Middle Fork offers some tremendous whitewater. Nearby lakes? Sure, Courtright Reservoir is close to Hobler Lake, and Voyager Rock Campground is a good campground nearby. The amount of precipitation that falls at Hobler Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is generally January, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.                  Having a good time in the Central Sierra Nevada is trouble-free. Devils Postpile National Monument is one of the destinations in close proximity to Hobler Lake that are glorious to go to. Just can't get enough of Hobler Lake. There are some nice whitewater spots on San Joaquin River - South Fork, and Hobler Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Trapper Springs Campground is a good spot to camp nearby. This is a brilliant neighborhood for people who like lakes. Lost Lake is a lake in close proximity, and a pleasant visit to Dusy Meadow is a tremendous way to spend an afternoon. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Red Mountain Trail, and hey, Gotta ski right?
