If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Hitchcock Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Near Hitchcock Lakes you come across the Pacific Crest Trail - section 11 which is a wonderful hiking trail, and if you came to camp Tuttle Creek Campground is a nice place to do that. Yeah, come here to Hitchcock Lakes for a tremendous time. There's so much to do here at Hitchcock Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Symmes Creek Campground

| | is a great place for that, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Lone Pine is a good choice. Whitewater paddling is great on Kern River, and Arctic Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
Hitchcock Lakes is mostly a rather dry place; January is the wettest month with most rain; October on the other hand is the driest. A pleasant place to stop by near Hitchcock Lakes is Trail Crest, and the Sierra Nevada casts its shadow over Hitchcock Lakes.

But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Here at Hitchcock Lakes there are plenty of people from Bishop; Keeler Needle is something you shouldn't miss if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Best
Western Frontier Motel is a tremendous place to get some rest; there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Mount Whitney Trail. Having a great time in the Southern Sierra Nevada is painless. Going for a hike on the Sawtooth
Pass Trail is always a good adventure, and Mount Chamberlin can be distinguished from Hitchcock Lakes.
Summertime highs at Hitchcock Lakes typically tend to be in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into
the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are generally in the 50's; nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Hitchcock Lakes tend to be in the 20's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Sierra Nevada.
