This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range. At Hines Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; during the month of December you get the most snow around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. Through the warm days of summer at Hines Reservoir temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are       in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Hines Reservoir sink into the 20's. All our national parks are good spots to check out, and Lava Beds National Monument is no exception, and Loody Springs is a lovely site to visit while you're at Hines Reservoir. If you came for an overnight stay Lassen Pines RV Resort is a pleasant place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Lava Campground is a great campground here, and there are                  other locations here than Hines Reservoir, for example Hines Reservoir. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Southern Cascade Range has to offer.
