     High temperatures at Hilton Creek Lakes through the months of summer are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Hilton Creek Lakes dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A nice close by hotel is Mammoth Lakes Travelodge, and Lake Inlet Campground is a good local campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the  
   Central Sierra Nevada. If you came for an overnight stay Lake Outlet Campground is a great place to camp, and after a long day outdoors Mammoth Creek Inn is a great site to spend a night or two.
Hilton Creek Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mono Creek. Hilton Creek Lakes is commonly a reasonably dried up site; all through
 
               the month of January you get the most rain around here, and June meanwhile is the driest month.
Visiting Devils Postpile National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; Mount Huntington can be observed from Hilton Creek Lakes. Near Hilton Creek Lakes you locate the Mammoth Rock Trail which is a good hiking trail, and Mammoth Mountain is a wonderful local ski area. All year is a great time in the Central Sierra Nevada if you like the outdoors. There are other sites here than Hilton Creek Lakes, for example Patricia Lake; the Sherwin Lakes Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by.
If you go for the outdoors, you'll like Hilton Creek Lakes. Not far from Hilton Creek Lakes, you'll come across Davis Lake which is a striking lake; San Joaquin River - South Fork is a brilliant whitewater spot close by.
