The warmest time of the year at Highland Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Highland Lakes fall into the 10's. Camping at Highland Lakes Campground is always a magnificent experience, and get drenched paddling on Carson River - East Fork. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is

| | always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Lower Highland Dam is a place that is near Highland Lakes, and you'll find a gorgeous lake called Asa Lake. Highland Lakes gets lots of water; January is the month that gets the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. be seen from here. You must positively dedicate some time to Bear Tree Meadow since you're here at Highland Lakes, and a beautiful lake like Half Moon Lake is a delightful place to take a look at. Whitewater paddling is magnificent
on Stanislaus River - Middle Fork, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13. This lake is so wonderful. The Charity Valley Trail is a good hiking trail near Highland Lakes, and a glorious nearby
hotel is Super 8 Gardnerville/Carson City. What a place this is for outdoors people. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. Bear Valley is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood;
nearby you hit upon the Burnside Lake Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is bountiful here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Camping is available at Bloomfield Campground, and if you need a place to stay The Mountain Club is a nice choice.
