So many fun things to do here in the Southern Sierra Nevada, too good to be true. While you're here at Higgins Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Bishop; since you might be in a lake       visiting mood you can always explore close by North Haiwee Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Higgins Lake is a beautiful lake in the Southern Sierra Nevada. If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Lone Pine is a perfect choice, and everybody loves Gomez Meadow. At Higgins Lake through the summer months highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's; overnight lows during the wintertime                  for Higgins Lake tend to be in the 20's.
