Higgins Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Higgins Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Higgins Lake is a delightful place to camp, Boulder Creek RV Resort is a delightful place; if you need a location to stay Best Western Frontier Motel is a good choice. During the warm days of summer here at Higgins Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 90's. Throughout the moonlight

| | hours it's generally in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and night lows during the wintertime for Higgins Lake tend to be in the 20's.
So many exciting things close to Higgins Lake, definitely phenomenal. Some nearby water includes Long Stringer, and Kern River - South Fork is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. hand is the driest. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Lone Pine is a magnificent place to spend a night or two; during your tour here you'll meet some people from Bishop for sure.
That right there is lots of fun stuff already
but it goes on, the Southern Sierra Nevada has it all. Be careful coming to the Southern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to go back home again. On a great day at Higgins Lake you can take a hike along the Mount Whitney Trail,
and the peak of Olancha Peak can be spotted from Higgins Lake. Camping at Higgins Lake is tremendous fun, Wagon wheel is a tremendous local campground, and Gomez Meadow is a pleasant site to stretch your legs a bit.
