 | I just camped over in Black Mountain. Amazing place... I even got to see a Lynx pretty close up. Calm and beautiful animal. I highly recommend this place. Not a bear or raccoon in the area. You don't have to so much worry about having food in your car.... |
Sungate Country Owners
 | 12 miles away 3 PHOTOS The community is a wonderful place to relax or have fun with a lot of amenities and activities. It's very well maintained with rentals and sales available.... This park is a must see. It's nestled in a cove surrounded by beautiful desert mountains. Very centally located with rentals and sales available. Check it out... I don't consider this a campground. It's a Park Model/RV park with a lot of fun activities. The park is well maintained with very friendly neighbors. I would highly recommend this 55+ community... |

Winter is relatively cold, but in 14 years here, there's only been one freeze that damaged plants at all, although we get a couple nights in the low 30s. Clear winter nights are relatively cold, 38-45, cloudy nights are 45-55. Daytime highs in the winter sometimes barely reach 65-70, but it's a dry cold, and feels like 40 would anywhere else.... |
