Why not take a refreshing hike along the Crooked Lakes Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Fordyce Creek offers some fine whitewater. An average amount of precipitation falls at Hidden Lake; all through January this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Hidden Lake is good enough to spend more than a day       at, Grouse Ridge Campground is a good local campground; Hidden Lake is not the only spot nearby, Long Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hidden Lake is not far at all from Truckee-Grass Valley; hey, Gotta ski right? Soda Springs is a splendid spot to do that. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Yuba River - South Fork, and the Round Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. If you go for the outdoors you'll                  go for it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A great place to camp here at Hidden Lake is Carr-Feeley Campground, and the summit of Bowman Mountain can be seen from Hidden Lake. Hidden Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Any time is a nice time at Hidden Lake if you adore the outdoors. A lake close by is Island Lake; do take a hike on the Bowman Mountain Trail. If you need a site to stay Deer Creek Inn is a tremendous choice, and since you're here, you could check out Alder Creek. Everybody close by loves skiing at Royal Gorge. Summer at Hidden Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's.
