If you are traveling by, why not stop by Hidden Lake. Summertime highs at Hidden Lake usually tend to be in the 80's, and the night is quite colder of course, generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Hidden Lake. Some of the water nearby flows, like Hoffmann Creek; a trip to Snow Flat revitalizes the spirit. Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Hidden Lake is a fine spot to camp, Tenaya Lake Campground is a fine spot, and get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Tenaya Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Porcupine Flat Campground; the skiing at Badger Pass is good. Going for a hike along the Tenaya Lake And Tuolumne Meadows Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
Hidden Lake ordinarily gets a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is July. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more enjoyable things
to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. While you're here at Hidden Lake you can take a hike along the Clouds Rest Trail, and Olmstead Point is clearly visible from Hidden Lake.
