What a nice lake Hidden Lake is. Through the warm days of summer here at Hidden Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Hidden Lake. If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Magic Mountain Area is a splendid choice; Hidden Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Lower Shake Campground

| | is a tremendous place to camp nearby. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Gillette Mine Trail; from Hidden Lake you get a great vista of Sawmill Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Days Inn Near Six Flags-Magic Mountain is a tremendous site to get some rest, and Upper Shake Campground is a delightful campground nearby. A splendid site to stop at near Hidden Lake is Bushnell Summit, and do take a hike on the Fish Canyon Trail. | |

Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do near Hidden Lake. Piru Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by; if you've had enough of Hidden Lake, Holiday Lake is close by. Around Hidden Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation;
during February this area sees the most rain; July is when it's the driest. The Burnt Peak Trail offers hiking at its best, and Hidden Lake is not the only place close by, Kings Canyon Percolation Basin is a close by lake.

 | Ah yes... I remember the big Jukebox. At least it was big as compared to me! I remember listening to the Rolling Stones on it as well as others....Yes, I would love to see pics of it. We used to go every year back in the 60's. They had a big jukebox and dance floor, great pool! We had so much fun !...Munz lake was a great place to camp back in the 1060's. My parents use to take us there. Fishing and a nice sized pool on the east end. I think that's all gone now. If anyone out there has pictures, could you please upload to this web site ? I'd sure appreciate it.... |

Notice that a large rock appears to be loose and or without support. It looks like the rock is supporting the trail above. Someone should take a closer look at that rock. In heavy rain it could come down. It looks unstable.... |
