This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is tremendous here at Hidden Lake, you can go for a hike along the Gillette Mine Trail, and a fine nearby hotel is Days Inn Castaic Six Flags Magic Mountain. At Hidden Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.       During the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Hidden Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Upper Shake Campground is a perfect place to camp, and a splendid site is Bushnell Summit. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Hidden Lake you can take a hike along the Burnt Peak Trail, and lakes are such serene spots, why not take a look at Holiday Lake. In case you don’t have a problem getting                  covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Piru Creek, and at Hidden Lake you can make out Sawmill Mountain. Hidden Lake gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year February is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Hidden Lake.
