A visit to Hidden Lake is always a good idea. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is bountiful here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Hidden Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Wentworth Springs Campground is a great local campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Red Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hidden Lake; Highland Trail is a brilliant local trail, and you can observe Brown Mountain from Hidden

| | Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Ellis Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out; the snow is delightful at Homewood.
Hidden Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Summertime highs at Hidden Lake typically tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Hidden Lake | |

descend into the 20's. After a long day outdoors Red Wolf Lodge at Squaw Valley is a great location to spend a night or two; if you came to camp Pleasant Boat-In Campground is a tremendous place to do that.
And that's not all
you can do here at Hidden Lake. The Loon Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you need a site to stay Squaw Valley Lodge is a brilliant choice. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There
are some good whitewater spots on American River - South Fork, and not far from Hidden Lake you'll find Buck Island Lake which is a charming lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Silver Creek - South Fork; the best way to spend
a winter day is on the slopes of close by Alpine Meadows.
Hidden Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; January is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July.
