This lake is so wonderful. Hidden Lake is a splendid spot to camp, Plasse's Resort is a splendid spot, and needless to say, this is a tremendous area for people who like lakes, Granite Lake is a lake close by. Really great skiing awaits you at Kirkwood, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mokelumne River - North Fork. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy       all the cool things in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Dry warm beds await you at Bear Valley Lodge, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Emigrant Trail. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Bear Valley, and if you want to pop by some interesting stuff, pop by Machado Postpiles. Hidden Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. During the months of summer at Hidden Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's with night                  lows in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Hidden Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. You might want to pay a visit to Porthole Gap since you're here at Hidden Lake, and there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the Hawley Grade Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hidden Lake a wet spot; January is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest month is July. What a site this is for outdoors people. Horse Thief Spring is always fun to check out, and after a long day outdoors Mountain Adventure Seminars is a great place to spend a night or two. Near Hidden Lake you find the Windmiller Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful.
