This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. If you came for an overnight stay LDS Camp Ritchie is a tremendous site to camp, and there's good hiking along the Windmiller Trail. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Soar down the rapids of Mokelumne River - North Fork in a kayak; camping is available at Plasse's Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Granite

| | Lake is in close proximity to Hidden Lake, and a journey to Horse Thief Spring will fill your soul with wonderful feelings. Go for a hike on the Emigrant Trail; dry warm beds await you at Meadowstone. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Hidden Lake. You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Kirkwood, and don't leave Hidden Lake without first going for a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail. After a long day outdoors | |

The Meadow is a great spot to spend a night or two, and if you come at the right time of year, American River - South Fork offers some tremendous whitewater. Hidden Lake gets much water; most of the snow falls throughout January,
and the driest month of the year is July. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is plentiful here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Near Hidden Lake you stumble on great places like Porthole Gap, and since you're here at Hidden Lake, checking
out Machado Postpiles is a must. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes. Pardoe Lake is a lake close by, and wonderful skiing awaits you at Bear Valley. At Hidden Lake throughout the warmest
time of the year highs are in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Hidden Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
