The Klamath Mountains scenery is always beautiful. At Henthorne Lake all through the summer highs are in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Henthorne Lake dip into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is nice here at Henthorne Lake, you can go for a hike along the Morrison       Trail. You definitely have to adore the Klamath Mountains. On a great day at Henthorne Lake you can take a hike along the Buck Ridge Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Willits. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Mad River. There's so much to do here at Henthorne Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hammerhorn Campground is a great site for that. Henthorne Lake in fact is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. North Fork                  Middle Fork Eel River is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at, and Asa Bean Flat is a great place. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Henthorne Lake you can take a hike along the Wrights Valley Trail, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not visit Lucky Lake. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. If you came to camp Eel River Campground is a delightful spot to do that, and nearby you come across Fern Point. Swan Lake is a great lake in the vicinity of Henthorne Lake, and get wet paddling on Eel River - North Fork.
