The summit of Spaulding Butte can be distinguished from Henski Reservoir, and the vistas at Lava Beds National Monument will blow your mind. Henski Reservoir gets very little precipitation; December is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest of the months is July. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more exciting stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Why not camp at Hawk's Nest if you're here at Henski Reservoir,       also Hackamore Reservoir Dam is worth checking out since you're here. Henski Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range. A great site to camp here at Henski Reservoir is Belly Acres Campground, and Spaulding 3 Reservoir is a magnificent lake close by. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Henski Reservoir. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down                  during the wintertime temperatures at Henski Reservoir dip into the 10's. Lakes?
