It's always fun to stop by Hell Hole Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Hell Hole Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Hunters Trail. A lake nearby is Bunker Lake; do set aside some time for Big Meadow if you're here at Hell Hole Reservoir. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There's so much to do here at Hell Hole Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Hell Hole Campground is

| | a good site for that, and you can go for a hike on the Parsley Bar Trail. Just can't get enough of Hell Hole Reservoir. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rubicon River, and skiing at Alpine Meadows is one of those things you just have to do. enough of the good skiing at Squaw Valley. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 80's at Hell Hole Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are
in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Hell Hole Reservoir through the wintertime regularly fall into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Rubicon Trail, and Yuba River - South Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby.
